Why We Need You to Help
Think of us as the news outlet for your camp! The blog is the fastest way to share updates, tell your stories, and celebrate all the great things your camp does. Unlike the TEXDIV Reporter (a quarterly publication), the blog can post anytime. But we can’t do it without your help!

Send Stuff Right After Your Event
As soon as your event ends, send us the facts. Don’t wait! If you send things right away, it’ll be fresh in your mind, and we can get the story out fast.

What to Send
You don’t have to write an article—just send us this stuff:

  1. Facts:
    • When and where was the event?
    • Who was there?
    • How many people came?
    • What happened? (Highlights, special moments, etc.) Even just a list of things that happened is fine!
  2. Pictures and Videos:
    • Videos and photos are what we want most! They make the blog fun, engaging, and vibrant. Record as much as possible and snap plenty of pictures.
    • Don’t worry about perfection—we’ll handle the editing for you.
    • The blog can handle tons of visuals, so send us everything you’ve got!
  3. Special Details:
    • Was there a great speaker?
    • Did something funny or memorable happen?
    • These little details make your story extra interesting.

Why This Is So Important
When you send us your stories and pictures, you’re making sure your camp gets noticed. Plus, you’re helping keep everyone connected and inspired.

  • The blog can post lots of pictures and videos and is updated fast.
  • The TEXDIV Reporter saves the best stories for its quarterly publication.

How to Send Stuff

  • Click the button below to open the submission form and upload your facts, pictures, and videos.
  • Be sure to include your camp’s name and a short description of the event.
  • If the files are too big for email, let us know. We’ll help you send them another way.

Help Us Keep History Alive
We can’t be everywhere, so we need you to share what your camp is doing. By sending us your stories, you’re helping to preserve history and inspire others.

Send us your stuff now—don’t wait! Let’s make sure every camp gets the recognition it deserves.
