On October 19th, the General John Gregg Camp #958 in Longview, Texas, held a Cemetery Walking History Memorial at Grace Hill Cemetery. It was a time to walk among the graves, reflect on the past, and honor those who came before us.
A special moment during the event was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Brandon Moore. This award, given in memory of his father, Jimmy Moore, recognized his dedication and contributions to the Texas Division for 2024. It was a meaningful tribute to both father and son.
Sam Mercer, Commander of Gregg Camp 958, presented the award alongside 5th Brigade Commander Bill Elliott. Brandon Moore and his wife were there to receive the honor, making it a touching moment for all in attendance.
