Paying Dues

This page is intended for camp adjutants that have questions about paying membership dues to Texas Division and Nationals.

Paying dues to the Texas Division is a straightforward process. You’ll need to download and print two important documents.

The first document is titled “National-Division Dues.” This document serves two main purposes:

• It allows you to inform the Division Adjutant about which members of your camp have paid their dues.
• You can also use it to update any changes in information such as mailing addresses or phone numbers.

Once you have completed the document, please ensure to mail it to the Texas Division adjutant. This step ensures that your dues and membership information are properly recorded and updated within the division.

Follow the instructions after you download the document:

The “Adjutant Dues Collection Transmittal Report” is a form used by the Texas Division to report itemized amounts included in a check sent to the Division. This form should be used to report various types of funds collected by the camps. Key components of the report include:

1. Camp Information:
– Camp Name and Number
– Reported by: (Name and Telephone Number)

2. Fund Categories:

• A. Total Division Dues
• B. Texas Division Heritage Defense Fund
• C. Sam Davis Christian Youth Camp Fund
• D. Texas Memorial Fund Project
• E. Flags Across Texas Project
• F. Extra Giving to Camp: Retained by the camp and not included in the check sent to the Division.

3. Grand Total:
– Sum of items A-E.

4. Check Information:
– Check Amount
– Check Number
– Check Date

5. Submission Instructions:
– Make checks payable to “Texas Division SCV.”
– Include a camp roster with highlighted names of members renewing their membership and their SCVID# for cross-reference.

This form is crucial for accurate accounting and IRS verification purposes. Be sure to print clearly and legibly.

Paying dues to the National SCV is even easier as they allow the process to be done online. In order to pay online, National’s Adjutant must have you listed as the Adjutant or Commander of your camp, otherwise you will not be able to access the camp roster. You also must have your scv.org account activated, for more information, click here.

If you’re not listed as the Adjutant or Commander of your camp, please immediately fill out a “Change of Officers” form and email a copy to your Division and National adjutants.

1. Navigate to the SCV.org Member Login page.
2. Login with the details you provided.
   
3. Click on “Membership Manager” in the top navigation
   
4. Select the check box at the bottom titled “National Membership – $35” for each member you would like to renew.
   
5. In the top right of your screen, click “Cart”
   
6.  The next screen will give you a summary of members you will be renewing. Please double check your work.
   
7. Once you click “Pay for selected” it will bring you to a screen input your credit card details.
8. After you hit submit, that’s it, you’re done.

If your camp opts to mail in your dues, the process is exactly the same minus the financial breakdown sheet.

You will still download and print the “National-Division Dues” document.
